The beloved Temescal Street Fair returns on Saturday, July 12th from 11AM - 8PM along Telegraph Avenue. Join us as we celebrate Oakland's Temescal District with multiple stages of live music and dance, culinary excellence, artisan marketplace, children's entertainment and more!

Roots Project

The Temescal Roots Project will honor the rich history of the Black Panther Party's beginnings in/around Temescal through a public art installation in the heart of the district. This will be the first 3D public art piece to honor the legacy not of a single member, but rather the entire Black Panther Party as a whole.
