Temescal Art Map Launch FREE Public Art Walking Tour

On May 12th, The Temescal Telegraph Business Improvement District led a guided walking tour of Temescal’s public art in partnership with local artists, in celebration of the launch of the first ever Temescal BID Art Walking Map showcasing over 97 pieces of public art and galleries in the district! The Temescal District is home to beautiful murals, creative artwork on utility boxes, and mosaics on trashcans, along with galleries, sculptures, and even an artistic pocket park.

The Launch of the Art Map was part of Oakland Art Month. If you were unable to make the guided tour, the maps are available for free at local merchants or at the BID office (490 43rd St) to do a DIY Art Tour!
