On February 1st, 2019, the Temescal BID initiated the now permanent Community Engagement Program where the Temescal BID Operations Manager and Ambassadors engage with all members of the Temescal Community and provide a sense of hospitality, safety and assistance to deal with quality of life issues, as well as providing a welcoming presence in the Temescal District.

As part of the new program, you are invited to participate in the upcoming training provided by the Temescal BID Operations Manager Joey Harrison on how to compassionately and respectfully interact with people experiencing homelessness and mental health issues, and general de-escalation strategies and tips. This session will also provide attendees with an overview of the BID’s community engagement program, and opportunities to ask questions. More information about the Community Engagement Program HERE.
