The storytelling project Phonographic Memory brings neighbors together to listen to personal stories inspired by vinyl records. Since 2015, the project has collected over 75 stories and songs shared by people around the Bay Area through its free, monthly live events, and showcases them through its podcast and video series. The project has now come to the Temescal District.

For more information, including our schedule of monthly live events, visit  www.PhonographicMemory.org.

If you’re interested in sharing a record & telling the story it inspires, sign up beforehand via email: register@phonographicmemory.org or call Steven Lavoie at the Temescal Branch Library at 510-597-5058 during the library’s regular service hours.
