Well-known career coach (and Oakland resident) Marty Nemko, host of KALW Radio’s “Work with Marty Nemko” & author the forthcoming Careers for Dummies will open the afternoon’s mini-symposium with his expert words of wisdom and creative advice & observations.

He will be followed by a small panel of other experts, activists & organizers, including Carroll Fife of ACCE Action, for a serious look at the state of working for a living in the 21st century.

This program is hosted in conjunction with the touring exhibit, “Working in America from project& of Chicago, on display at the Main Library through March 31st.
