Donate & Apply to Oakland Indie Alliance Repair Fund

Oakland Indie Alliance has created a repair fund for businesses whose storefronts have been damages. Donate to the repair fund to ensure the sustainability of the local small business community and apply to receive a grant.

Oakland Indie Alliance (OIA) stands in solidarity with those fighting for justice and police accountability in the streets of Oakland. In some cases, their members are the ones on the street standing arm in arm with the community. The storefronts of small, local, independent businesses have been damaged, in a time when small businesses are already struggling to survive. Please help support their repair fund to ensure the sustainability of the local small business community. Donate here.
OIA is issuing grants of $600 to businesses with storefronts damaged by the protest and following events from May 29-June 2. Independently-owned, Oakland-based, small businesses (less than 100 employees and annual revenue under $7million) are eligible to receive the funds. Apply Here beginning June 4th, 2020 at 9am. OIA aim to have applications processed and funds distributed within 2-3 days. They will be accepting applications on a rolling basis and distributing $12,000/day. You do not need to be an Oakland Indie Alliance member to apply (although they invite you to join here and membership is free). OIA membership will have no effect on your application.
