All layers of asphalt have been on installed on Telegraph Ave. Last week, the contractor installed temporary cat tracking to mark the exact locations for permanent striping.
The permanent striping includes bus boarding island, bike lanes, and pedestrian refuges for Telegraph Ave from 36th St to 51st St. City staff are currently reviewing the temporary cat tracking. Once the City approves the work, the contractor will return to install the permanent striping, starting sometime the week of July 20th. Starting July 13th, on Telegraph between 20th and 29th (Koreatown/Northgate District), the subcontractor is installing crosswalks and laying out the exact locations for the new K-71 bollards (larger and studier bollards than were previously installed).
