We are thankful to have some delicious businesses here in the district who participating in this year’s San Francisco Beer Week.

Participating Businesses in Temescal:

Saturday, February 9th | Oakland United Tap Take Over | Bierhaus | 360 40th Street
Who brewed it better? Come see and judge for yourself as we pit Germany and Oakland in an epic tap battle! Bierhaus will be representing Germany, and Oakland United will represent Oakland, and here are the rules:

Oakland United gets three taps to show us how well they can brew German style beers. We get three taps of the corresponding German import. You try one or the other, and if your table orders both then you all become the judge of who brewed it better. Let the games begin!

Sunday, February 10th | Low & Slow Pig Roast | Temescal Brewing | 4115 Telegraph Ave.
Our third annual Beer Week closeout cookout is going to be a good one! Each year we partner with a different chef offering their take on a slow cooked whole animal. This year, Tacos El Precioso is smoking a whole pig and serving it in tortas. YUM.

Join us for full pig plates, special cask beers, and chill patio vibes—the perfect end to beer week.

Saturday, February 9th|Brewers in The Hot Seat | Hogs Apothecary | 375 40th Street
This panel discussion features principles from four of California’s most highly regarded breweries: Jeff Kimpe of Triple Rock Brewing, Kim Sturdavant of Social Kitchen & Brewery, Lori Miller of Berryessa Brewing, and returning from last year’s panel, Ting Su, co-owner of Eagle Rock Brewing. The panel will moderated by “Bay Area Beer Guru” Sayre Piotrkowski and Chauncey Jackson, of BrewStuds and AllThingsBeer510. The twist: as the panel goes along, each participant must eat wings from progressively hotter plates of wings with each segment and only a select beer from their brewery to help them through the ordeal!
